both English and Education. She
also has extensive musical and voice
experience. Lissa has over 20
years of experience in the fashion
industry and model industry and is now
also the owner of a very successful film
and television agency. Lissa's interests
include health and fitness, herbology
and naturalpathic medicine, travel,
music, wine, cooking, aesthetics,
massage therapy, pilates, yoga and
cycling. Her favourite pastimes
are daily work-outs and spa pamperings. |

Originally from
Australia, Sandi is a Fashion Design
graduate of Royal Melbourne School
of Applied Art (Australia) with over
30years of experience in the fashion
industry, theatre (receiving Best
Costume awards for her designs) and
the film industry (online casting). She
is also an active graphic designer,
both for print and the web, and has written
instructor training courses for web
design and graphic software. Sandi
enjoys reading, sewing, beading,
embroidery, fashion history
research, and recently, creating history
of costume dolls. |

Nadia
Chu / Editor
At the age of one, Nadia’s mother dressed her in a red and navy blue checked long-sleeved dress, black patent cut-out shoes, and an icy blue quilted coat that was topped off with a beautiful pale pink polka dot scarf tied in a big bow below her chin. She was born in Paris, and her stylish mother dressed her in clothes she knit herself, bought in Paris, or received from her mother in Shanghai. It is no wonder that from these beginnings, Nadia’s love and fascination with fashion has come to be second nature to her.
At the age of two and a half, Nadia and her parents immigrated to Canada. They first moved to Montreal but stayed less than a year because her mother could not stand how cold it was. Vancouver was their next stop, and they have called it home ever since then.
Nadia has always loved reading and writing; some of her most inspired and creative moments have come from doing one or the other. This is why she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English at Simon Fraser University. While at
SFU, she also kept thinking about fashion and her desire to pursue a career in that field. She did not know where to begin, but with the encouragement of a friend and a little research, she quickly found her way to Blanche Macdonald
Centre. She is passionate about writing and fashion, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to do both for
Fashionberry.
Food and traveling are her bliss. She loves meeting new people and discovering new places. She enjoys all the arts our fine city has to offer, including art galleries, film festivals, and literary events. |

Brandi began her career in the industry as an event coordinator of a large modeling agency. a few short years later Brandi tapped into her creative side taking additional training and receiving certification as a make up artist. Since then she has accomplished credits as make-up, hair and stylist in esteemed magazines and has taken part in many commercial and creative fashion shoots and events. Brandi also assists in managing film and television carriers and is in association with a strong management team developing and managing successful international modeling careers.
